2. RM100 million Guaranteed Serial Fixed Rate Bonds (Bonds) (2000/2005) AA- (bg)
Further to the press announcement made by Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC) on 13 July 2001, MARC has been informed that JCD had failed to meet the scheduled repayments amounting to RM42.6 million and RM19 million in respect of its GRUNIF and Bonds facilities respectively on 18 July 2001. The GRUNIF and Bonds have nevertheless been unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by a consortium of banks.
