MARC has removed its ratings of MARC-2ID/AID on Premium Nutrients Berhad’s (Premium Nutrients), RM85 million Murabahah Underwritten Notes Issuance Facility/Islamic Medium Term Notes (MUNIF/IMTN) programme from MARCWatch Developing where it had been placed on December 4, 2009 to highlight an impending refinancing of the programme. Premium Nutrients is principally involved in the manufacturing and trading of specialty fats and non-specialty fats. The refinancing has been completed with the early redemption of its outstanding MUNIF/IMTN facility on December 23, 2009, as confirmed by its facility agent, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad. MARC understands that cancellation of the facilities is still pending the discharge of security created under the programme. MARC expects to withdraw its ratings on Premium Nutrients upon the completion and perfection of the discharge of the collateral securing the rated programme.
